AMBU BAG ADULT

Ambu bag is a handheld tool that is used to deliver positive pressure ventilation to any subject with insufficient or ineffective breaths. It consists of a self-inflating bag, one-way valve, mask, and an oxygen reservoir.

An Ambu bag should be used only by trained medical personnel, including doctors, nurses, EMTs, and paramedics. Serious complications from misuse of a BVM can occur; it must be used properly for sufficient respiration to be provided and to avoid injuries or complications from the misdirection of air, etc
