HSCAL-OS Softgel Capsules in the management of Osteoporosis.

Hscal-os is a composition of Calcium Citrate Maleate 500mg + Calcitriol 0.25mcg + Zinc 7.5mg + Magnesium 50mg.

Calcium Citrate Maleate:

* Chelate of calcium citrate with malic acid,highly soluble in water.

* 45% of calcium is absorbed & absorption is independent of gastric pH

* Highly bio available calcium salt.

Calcitriol:

* Most physiologically active form of Vit D3 & twice potent than alphacalcidol.

* Increases calcium absorption and decreases urinary calcium excretion.

*  Promotes bone mineralisation ,regulates plasma PTH levels and decreases bone resorption.

Magnesium:

* Regulates Calcium metabolism.

* Helps to optimize calcium utilization and bone mineralization.

Zinc :

* Improve  osteoblastic activity.
